Wounds That Heal

Lent is a 40-day journey leading up to Easter — a season where we slow down, reflect honestly, and draw closer to Jesus.

In this year’s series, Wounds That Heal, we explore how Christ meets us in our doubts, fears, disappointments, and church hurt — not to shame us, but to restore us. Lent invites us to bring our real lives to God and discover that the same wounds that once marked pain can become places of grace.

This is not a season of pretending.

It is a season of healing.

Holy Week @ Resurrection

Why We Celebrate Holy Week:

Holy Week is the most sacred week of the Christian year.

It is the week we slow down and walk with Jesus through the final days of His earthly life — from celebration to betrayal, from table to cross, from silence to resurrection.

We do not rush to Easter. We remember.
We sit in the tension. We reflect on the depth of Christ’s love — a love that serves, suffers, and ultimately conquers death.

Holy Week reminds us that resurrection only comes after surrender… and that God’s healing often moves through places of pain.

Stations of the Cross - 10AM - 7PM

Monday 03/30 & Tuesday 03/31

(Come & Go)

A self-guided prayer experience reflecting on the final moments of Jesus’ life. Walk at your own pace. Pray. Reflect. Sit in the story. These stations help us slow down and personally enter the weight and movement of Holy Week.

Holy Wednesday Service - @ 6PM

Wednesday 04/01

A quiet, intimate service centered on John 12, where we reflect on costly devotion as Mary anoints Jesus. The room will be dim, the pace slower, and we will gather at the table in reverence for Holy Communion.

Maundy Thursday - @ 6PM

Thursday 04/02

We gather around the table — not as spectators, but as participants. On this night, Jesus took an ordinary meal and transformed it into a means of grace. At the table, we come as we are — with our joys, wounds, doubts, and even betrayal — and Christ meets us there.

This interactive service invites us to reflect on servant love, remember that even Judas was served, and receive Holy Communion together around our kitchen table as an act of surrender and trust. We will conclude by stripping the table and leaving in silence, carrying the weight of love that serves and moves toward the cross.

Good Friday (Service of Tenebrae) - @ 6PM

Friday 04/03

A service of shadows as we walk through the story of the cross. Scripture is read, candles are extinguished one by one, and the room slowly darkens as we remember the suffering and sacrifice of Christ. We do not rush past the pain or soften the weight of this night. Instead, we sit in the silence, allowing the depth of God’s love — poured out through the cross — to settle over us before we leave in quiet reflection.

Prayer Vigil - @ 6PM (bring a lawn chair)

Saturday 04/04

We gather in the quiet space between the cross and the empty tomb. Around the fire, we enter a simple prayer vigil of waiting, confession, and surrender. Through Scripture, silence, and a symbolic act of release, we bring what weighs on our hearts before God.

There is no rush to resurrection this night — only honesty, refinement, and faithful waiting. We will conclude in silence, holding space for the hope that is still to come.
